Yesterday I spoke on Matthew 9:35-38 where Matthew records the compassion of Jesus Christ toward the crowds. After an excellent discussion on the topic of compassion last night with my small group, there are some points that I think it would be valuable to clarify from the message yesterday. God has given me more than I deserve . . . and that is a significant understatement. So I am going to use my blog to say some thanks this week . . . I read the following quote on Facebook and it was disturbing to me on a couple of levels. I try my best to not get involved in online debates, but I had to comment.
