But this is not a quote from me. And despite sounding like something Lebron, Wade, Bosh, Messi, or any number of athletes would say . . . It is actually a quote from the Almighty Creator of the universe in Isaiah 49:23. He declares that anyone who puts their trust and hope in Him will not be let down. Nobody who has turned to Him for hope will find that they have misplaced it.
When we as humans says things like this, it rings hollow, vain and empty. We cannot guarantee we will still be breathing an hour from now. So let me encourage you to consider where your HOPE rests. Do not hope in me, I will disappoint. Do not hope in yourself, you will disappoint. Do not hope in money, it will disappoint. Do not hope in pleasure, it will disappoint. But those who place their hope in the Almighty will not be disappointed, and that is better than any warranty or money back guarantee I have ever been offered!
